Project Description: Project included the demolition and renovation of over 15 laboratories in an old, contaminated radiological and biological laboratory building. The project was held to NQA -1 quality standards. Involved asbestos abatement, demolition, followed by new construction of walls and installation of new HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression systems, along with architectural features and finishes.
Client: The Cowperwood Company & Battelle / PNNL
Project Description: Build out of approximately 3400 square feet of Class 1 laboratory space, including but not limited to demolition and new construction of walls, fire protection, mechanical, plumbing, piping of laboratory gases, HVAC systems and fume hoods, electrical, laboratory casework, architectural items and finishes, and system testing.
Location: Richland, WA
Project Description: Demo and renovation of 3,300sf office space into medical laboratory.
